Been going here for 15+ years. Always consistently great food and service! They work super hard and are very friendly, whether you order over the phone or over the counter, service is always very quick. Never once had a bad meal from here!

I have been coming here for many years. The best fish and chips that I have ever had in South Manchester. The curry sauce is also excellent. It is located on a very busy road and parking can sometimes be a problem. There is a carpark across the road and if this is full I normally park on Station Road.

Despite being Good Friday, it was such speedy and friendly service Fish was perfectly fried, batter crispy and flavoursome. TOP gravy! The chip portions are huge! Prices so reasonable for the quality and quantity My first time here - won't be my last!!

Haven't tried the fish and chips but the Chinese dishes were tasty when we visited. Service was very quick and efficient and the portions were a generous size. Price was very reasonable for the food.

One of the few chippys where the fish tastes as nice as the chips. Good on them for their 'bring your own bag' policy too. As for how quick they are - I once saw a man get off the bus at the stop outside, walk into Golden Gate, walk out 60 seconds later with his chips and get back on the very same bus. Maybe that's just a testament to the slow rush hour traffic on Didsbury Road, but still...
